The St. Cloud, Minnesota Chapter of SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business” is part of a national nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of the nation’s small business. SCORE volunteers serve as “Counselors to America's Small Business.”

SCORE Chapter #468 provides free and confidential business counseling tailored to meet the needs of your small business and your personal objectives. SCORE Chapter #468 also offers workshops, for a modest fee, for both start-up entrepreneurs and in-business small business owners.

I would like to emphasize that SCORE assists people in starting a new business and by providing counseling to existing small and mid-sized business owners.

SCORE volunteers are real-world professionals with time-tested knowledge who donate thousands of hours to help small businesses succeed. Counselors are experts in such areas as accounting, finance, operations, marketing, management and business plan preparation.

SCORE Chapter #468 is comprised of more than 30 volunteers that provide guidance and counseling to entrepreneurs in the St. Cloud, Alexandria, Detroit Lakes, and Northwest Minnesota area.

Assistance is available in many ways:

• Attend workshops and seminars: view the St. Cloud workshops or Minnesota workshops, then call the number listed to sign-up to attend workshops of your choice
